On Friday 17th November, Vin Est are delighted to host their 6th Annual Christmas Portfolio Wine Tasting. This year the event will be at Lynwood & Co, in the Market Place, Lechlade. As normal, there will be over 60 different wines available for tasting, with a 15% discount on all wines ordered on the night (minimum order 12 bottles). There will be cheeky wines for parties, more serious wines for Christmas Day and lots of ideas for presents for those tricky relatives. To help keep you upright on the night, the guys from Lynwood will also be selling a warm bowl of delicious seasonal fayre throughout the evening. Wine Tasting Dinner with Vin Est at The PloughOn Wednesday 8th November @ 7pmThe team at the Plough, Mike and Rachel from Vin Est in Lechlade are delighted to be hosting a dinner with Louis Boutinot of Waterkloof, Stellenbosch, South Africa. Waterkloof was founded by Paul Boutinot, his father, in 2004. Their majestic and fully-fledged biodynamic estate is perched high on top of hill overlooking the Western Capes False Bay and produces delicately fine wines with a real sense of place. Waterkloof shares its magnificent Atlantic views with free-roaming peacocks and other natural fauna and flora attracted to this haven. Certified by Demeter in 2015, its vineyards are of only a few in the Cape to boast official biodynamic approval and status. The estate has 56 hectares under vine and produces around 165,000 bottles per year.
