An absolutely classic Soave - though no longer 'classico' as the rules and regulations don't allow for screwcap closures! Same excellent quality though ...Fresh, flowery and subtly tropical nose with ripe pears and a touch of wood smoke. The palate is attractively textured and juicy, showing zesty 'leesy' intensity and a hint of almonds. Richly-flavoured and concentrated with a crisp, incisive and mineral finish.
Yellow-green in colour and intensely aromatic with grapefruit and other citrus expressions. Its balance of sweetness and acidity enhances the fruity character of the wine. The finish is fresh and satisfying.
An unoaked gem - clean, fresh and very satisfying.Typically Burgundian Chardonnay that is upfront and full with a hint of buttery shortbread and a bit of hazelnut on the mid palate, this wine shows elegance, finesse and style. Unoaked, pure green apple fruit is framed in appealing acidity. 13% ABV
A ripe unoaked chardonnay with real depth, The relatively high vineyard produces grapes with freshness and acidityAn unoaked Chardonnay with intense, lively citrus fruit and apple skin aromas. Quite full on the palate with ripe peach and apricot characters balanced by crisp acidity. 14% ABV
Schiopetto is producer of white wine pioneer in Friuli region. Darker yellow as Pinot Grigio. Aroma of peach, peer, nuts, lychee, pineapple, citrus, honey, mineral. Dry, earthy, round, appealing, heavy body...I REAL FAVOURITE HERE!!!
The elegant Sauvignon Blanc is alive with aromas of stone-fruit and minerals with flavours of guava and lime, one sip and you're up, up and away!
spiked with white pepper. Textbook young Grüner and probably GV. Deliciously 'wholesome' tasting!
A very pretty Riesling with lots and lots of pretty fruit. True to its name this really is peachy the juicy orange-blush kind. It almost tastes off-dry but there is only 4 g/l of residual sugar. Lime and wet sand minerality providing a frame of reference.
A weightier style of Grüner than some, including Pfaffl's own The Dot Apple Grüner, thanks to a later harvest and more skin contact. Rich apple fruit, with a hint of pepper and a mineral, citrus zesty finish.
