Lovely grassy aromatic nose (reminiscent of sauvignon blanc), with hints of tropical melon and pink grapefruit The palate is softer and creamier than you would expect, given the invigorating nose. Fresh lemon. with hints of nuttiness and a wonderful palate weight, giving the wine real texture.
The Pinot Grigio is light and fresh with ripe apple and pear flavours and good body. A good aperitif matching with fish and light dishes.
Comprised of grapes from 3 vineyard sites within the farm, with each block having a widely varied exposure to the sun, this is a compelling Chardonnay from the Upper Hemel-en-Aarde valley. Elegant and complex with a steely acidity forming the core of a wine that offers mouth-watering citrus flavours with some sweet spice framed by judicious oak. Give this a couple of years and it will rock!
A journey into the combined expression of sandstone and clay soils. Sandstone provides the mineral and aromatic citrus fruit characters; while clay adds texture, depth, and riper tropical flavours in the mouth. 5% Semillon fermented in oak provides an extra creamy sensation.
Rich, full, very tropical and spicy! Light gold in color, this wine has a big texture in the mouth without being oaky. It is full-bodied and long-lasting, with notes of honey.
The wine is aged on its lees and bottled later than at most Chablis domaines, which leads more complexity and a certain richness to the finished wine. Mineral freshness and firm pear on the nose. A benchmark bone-dry palate boasts baked apple characteristcs and soft honeyed nuances, all cut through by a fresh citrus streak of acidity that lasts onto the long, lean finish.
Vibrant and aromatic with delicious generous fresh apricot, nectarine and hints of passion fruit on the nose. A creamy palate with real fresh fruit flavours, fleshy just picked apricots with hints of guava. Bright acidity and minerality delivers a delicious balance.
