The Pouilly Fumé of Stellenbosch. Stunning!Crushed laurel on the nose with more than a nuance of residual seaside salt. This has a big and textured palate with stone fruit and fennel hints it is rich and minerally, showing even a slight rocky quality about it. As bracing as the wind through the vines at Waterkloof.
THis is the best Pinot Grigio, we have tasted...Its refined with pretty layers of fruit that emerge from a mid-weight frame. A cool, minerally finish gives the wine a nice sense of proportion.
The nose give us a rich flavour of white flowers and white fruits such as peach, pear and apricot. The mouth is intense, round, softly structured and lightly perfumed with mineral notes. Elegant, it finishes on minerals and slightly citrus notes. Oru most popular St Veran!
