Amanda Thomson wanted to enjoy delicious Champagne and Prosecco with the benefit of no and low sugar levels so she created Thomson & Scott Skinny - a portfolio of top quality bottles from 0.1g to 7g of sugar per litre. The newest product in her range is Thomson & Scott Skinny Prosecco - hailing from the South East facing slopes of the Dolomites, close to Soligo, in North East Italy. All the grapes used in the production are certified organic and are vinified in a gentle manner without the use of animal based products during filtration. The wine is also certified vegan. With up to 7g of sugar per litre, it has less than 50% of the usual sugar content added in the production process but retains the classic Prosecco character of honeysuckle, jasmine and amalfi lemon on the nose, with a fresh clean and light flavour of crisp green apple and ripe lemons.
Excellent value sparkling from one of the Loire's oldest and most reliable sparkling wine producers. This wine is a multi varietal blend from the Saumur region with an attractive light fizz, nutty freshness and dry finish.
"This eye-catching cava with its sleeve by the great artist is classy, elegant, half the price of regular champagne, and will go perfectly with most Boxing Day dishes. Matthew Jukes, Daily Mail, Thursday 11, December 2014Produced from a blend of Macabeo, Parellada and Chardonnay which are fermented separately before blending, bottling and ageing for 2 years, this cava is a bright straw colour with a steadily rising stream of fine bubbles. It has pronounced appley fruit with a great balance between ripe fruit and delicate acidity.
Made from Trepat and Pinot Noir grapes which give this delicious pink fizz a bright redcurrant colour and vibrant ripe strawberry fruit characters, this Cava is aged for 18 months prior to disgorgement. It is soft and juicy in character with refreshing balanced acidity - the perfect aperitif.
